Lots to do when we drop the hook!

The Walker Bay 10' sailing dinghy adds a lot of fun to our charters. This easy to use dinghy rows and sails well. Two can sail in the bays and channels where we anchor. Hands on fun while exploring the shoreline. Go for a gentle row at sunup or sunset and enjoy the peace and tranquility of a quiet anchorage. A great way to reflect on the beauty of our surroundings. Pictured here is Ciaran, an experienced dinghy sailor from Ireland sailing in Pender Harbour, September, 2005.
Takuli III also sails with a motorized, rigid aluminum hulled inflatable dinghy. The "fleet" of small vessels we carry allows for flexibility and freedom to explore.
Sailing "SuperNatural"
British Columbia

Our destinations are among the finest cruising areas in British Columbia. There are many opportunities for discovery with mountain scenery and miles of coastline to explore, Eighty marine parks all along the British Columbia coast protect wildlife and eco-systems while welcoming boaters. Our pacific climate is temperate, dry and warm in the summer. The waters are rich with life. With interesting navigation, five meter tides and hundreds of islands to explore, it is truly a boaters delight. Our season runs from April through to October.
Takuli III is a comfortable, well equipped sailing vessel and the captain has your safety, comfort and interests in mind. Participation onboard Takuli III is welcome.

Gulf Island Sailing:

"Like sailing through a painting" was how Steve described our sail through the Gulf Islands last week. Sunshine and warm breezes provided us with great kayaking, swimming, hiking, rowing and sailing. We visited Pirate's Cove Marine Park, Wallace Island, Prevost Island, the village of Ganges on Saltspring Island, Sidney Spit Marine Park, Montague Harbour and Bedwell Harbour on South Pender Island. We climbed up Mount Norman on South Pender Island for a spectacular 360 degree Gulf Island vista. The skies were clear for a nice view of Mount Baker to the south. We caught some fish and dungeness crab and viewed Dalls' Porpoise, harbour porpoise, lots of seals and some jumping salmon. The sailing dinghy proved quite a hit and we used it every day. Both Kelsey and Claire made their first solo sail by day four. We sailed back to Nanaimo from Montague Harbour with a nice sunny southwest breeze and had an exciting impromptu race with another sailboat for a couple of hours. A great family trip before Claire and Kelsey head off to college. Picture of Takuli III anchored just off Chatterbox Falls at Princess Louisa Inlet Marine Park.

Thank you for making our holiday such a unique experience. It
takes a few days to appreciate the magnificent surroundings of Princess Louisa
Inlet - there is so much natural beauty that it is hard to take it all in at
once. We all thoroughly enjoyed your cooking and the whole sailing experience
was so memorable and different from our daily lives. Henry is even considering
buying a boat, you made such an impression on him. Thanks again for welcoming us
aboard.
